Emran Law Firm is a dynamic, multi-practice law firm representing clients throughout the State of California. Our practices span Business, Employment, Sports, and Workers’ Compensation. We represent clients in both strategic transactions and complex litigation, from initial consultation through jury trial.

This position is a great opportunity for defense-side workers’ compensation attorneys interested in transitioning to applicant representation. Applicant-side practice offers a more direct attorney-client relationship, greater autonomy over case strategy, and the opportunity to see the tangible impact of your work on injured workers’ lives. Defense attorneys bring valuable litigation discipline, medical-legal insight, and carrier-side strategy awareness that translate exceptionally well to applicant advocacy.

Prior applicant-side experience is not required. Mentorship, training, systems, and support are in place to ensure a smooth and successful transition.

  • Intake, evaluate, manage, and litigate workers’ compensation matters
  • Attend and defend depositions
  • Analyze medical reports, PD ratings, and medical-legal issues
  • Develop and execute case strategy
  • Maintain clear, professional communication with clients
  • Appear at WCAB hearings and conferences
  • Collaborate closely with firm attorneys, case managers, and support staff
  • Self-motivated attorney capable of managing a caseload with minimal supervision
  • Strong understanding of workers’ compensation law and procedure

  • Salary: $95,000–$150,000 DOE + discretionary bonus
