Attorney Toxic Torts Hybrid

A prominent national law firm specializing in complex civil litigation seeks a skilled attorney to join its California team. Known for its expertise in toxic torts, product liability, local government issues, general liability, and commercial litigation, the firm takes a team-oriented approach to client service, aligning closely with clients to advance their interests across a variety of sectors. Primary Responsibilities:

• Oversee local and national accounts throughout California.
• Manage litigation caseloads independently from start to finish.
• Conduct depositions and prepare witnesses for both deposition and trial.
• Review, analyze, and respond to discovery requests and pleadings.
• Prepare and file court documents, including e-filing.
• Provide comprehensive trial preparation and support.
• Maintain accurate and detailed time records.

Candidate Requirements:

• At least two years of experience in complex litigation, toxic tort, or environmental liability.
• Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school with admission to the California Bar.
• Strong skills in motion practice and depositions, with experience leading plaintiff and expert depositions.
• Highly organized and capable of independent work.
• Excellent research and writing skills.
• Proven ability to multitask and analyze complex issues effectively.
