Security Engineer, Platform Security

Role

As a Security Engineer working at Open Evidence, you will be a key architect and driver in securing the mission-critical infrastructure powering our medical AI platform used by healthcare providers worldwide, with ownership over the security posture, compliance integrity, and resilience of our production ecosystem. You will design and harden cloud infrastructure using defense-in-depth principles, improving security observability and establishing robust controls across services and data platforms that handle sensitive medical information.

In just over a year, our usage has grown to >40% of US clinicians via product-led word of mouth adoption. We are a $12B company with a 30-person engineering team from MIT, Harvard, and Stanford.
