The team is seeking a Senior Content Designer (Contract) to help shape product experiences through clear, useful, and meaningful language. In this role, you will advocate for excellent user experience by creating product copy and communications that help users complete tasks efficiently. You will also help define content strategy, contribute to product narratives, and ensure a consistent voice across tools and platforms.
The ideal candidate is strategic, collaborative, and skilled at using language to design intuitive, engaging product experiences. A strong portfolio demonstrating the ability to simplify complex concepts and improve user experiences is essential.
Key Responsibilities- Lead content strategy and establish content standards for Measurement, Conversions, and AI products, ensuring clarity and consistency in guiding advertisers toward high-quality measurement setups that support campaign optimization strategies.
- Drive innovation by developing and iterating on AI-driven business tools that provide personalized measurement guidance and convert performance data into clear insights and actionable optimization recommendations.
- Leverage AI technologies to scale and enhance content design quality, partnering with engineering and data teams to build processes that improve efficiency and consistency.
- Craft, write, edit, test, and continuously improve product content, including product flows, UI language, in-product education, terminology definitions, information architecture, product naming, and navigation design.
- Use data, logic, and user empathy to guide content decisions. Conduct content audits, identify patterns, and lead brainstorming sessions to create effective content experiences.
- Collaborate closely with researchers, product managers, designers, engineers, product marketing, and business stakeholders to establish cohesive, conversational product language with a unified voice.
Develop deep expertise in the product and its user base. Work with UX research to understand audience needs and incorporate real user insights into product problem statements and UI content.
Qualifications- Bachelor’s degree in Creative Writing, Screenwriting, English, Communications, Journalism, Technical Writing, UX, HCI, or equivalent practical experience.
- 5+ years of experience in user-focused product writing or content design, ideally within software, hardware, digital agencies, or other product-focused environments.
- Experience writing for business or enterprise audiences.
- Experience designing content for enterprise advertising tools, agency platforms, shopping tools, or third-party integrations.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating content design, UX writing, storytelling, and the ability to simplify complex product experiences.
