As a Dev Ops Engineer within the Infrastructure Engineering team, you will automate and scale the systems that power our streaming platform. You will partner with other infrastructure engineers and development teams on projects related to infrastructure automation, scaling, and CI/CD, ensuring best practices are followed and high‑quality software delivery is supported.

You possess an in‑depth understanding of Software and Dev Ops methodologies, automation, and infrastructure‑as‑code. You have designed, built, and scaled high‑availability systems and developer platforms, and thrive in a collaborative environment. You will report to the Dev Ops Manager.

• At least a Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience working in production‑level environments as a Dev Ops Engineer.
• Experience in automation and creating reusable patterns and solutions.
• Experience in Git Ops practices and CI/CD.
• A passion for supporting and empowering software development teams.
• Experience with AWS and IaC tools such as Terraform and CDK.
• Proficiency in at least one programming language (Type Script preferred).
• Familiarity with relational databases like Postgre
  
  SQL and MySQL, and non‑relational databases such as Dynamo
  
  DB.
• Experience guiding Software Engineers in production best practices and sharing knowledge across teams.
• Ability to accommodate periodic off‑hour meetings with international teammates.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate with stakeholders.
• Participation in on‑call and developer support rotations.

• Knowledge of Pulumi, Amazon ECS, and Backstage.
• Experience with CDN and caching technologies such as AWS Cloud Front.
• Experience in security, compliance, and audit.

Pay Transparency – San Francisco, CA
$164,000–$205,000 USD. The actual pay will vary based on location, experience, and performance. This range is one component of Crunchyroll’s Total Rewards.
