** What You'll Do:**

* Utilize advanced fraud detection tools, reporting dashboards, and SQL to meticulously analyze data and pinpoint fraudulent activities.

* Conduct thorough monthly audits, collaborating closely with senior team members to ensure comprehensive coverage and accuracy.

* Present detailed findings and insights to leadership, providing clear, concise, and actionable intelligence to inform strategic decisions.

* Provide essential support for investigative requests from various internal departments, leveraging your expertise to resolve complex issues.

* Continuously learn and adapt to new tools, technologies, and fraud methodologies to stay ahead of evolving threats.

* Required Qualifications:

**

* Foundational experience with SQL, including the ability to write basic queries to extract, join, and analyze data from large datasets.

* Proficiency in spreadsheet software, including formulas, filters, pivot tables, and data validation for investigative analysis.

* Ability to analyze alerts or outputs from a real-time, machine learning-driven fraud detection tool and apply critical thinking to assess potential fraud risk.

* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify patterns, anomalies, and trends in data.

* Clear written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to document findings and explain insights to partners and leadership.

* High attention to detail and the ability to follow defined investigative, audit, and documentation standards.

* A curious, self-motivated mindset with a willingness to learn new tools, technologies, and fraud methodologies.

** Nice to Have:**

* Experience using data platforms to explore and analyze structured data.

* Working knowledge of data visualization tools, including building or maintaining dashboards and interpreting data visualizations.

* Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., analytics, finance, criminal justice, information systems) or equivalent practical experience in fraud, risk, payments, or data analysis.
