We are hiring an Ecosystem & Partnerships Lead to serve as our long-term, on-the-ground representative in the San Francisco Bay Area.
Subotiz is a US-facing, globally operating company with teams across North America and Asia.
This is not a traditional sales or community management role.
You will represent Subotiz across the Bay Area tech ecosystem — engaging with founders, builders, SaaS platforms, AI startups, agencies, and ecosystem partners — while utilizing professional fluency in both English and Mandarin to bridge the US ecosystem with our Asia-based teams and ensure seamless cross-regional collaboration.
What You’ll Do Ecosystem Presence & Representation- Represent Subotiz at Bay Area–based events, meetups, demo days, accelerators, and private ecosystem gatherings.
- Build long-term, trust-based relationships with founders, operators, developers, investors, and platform partners.
- Serve as a consistent and credible on-the-ground representative for the company in the US ecosystem.
- Identify partnership opportunities across SaaS platforms, AI products, developer tools, agencies, and channel partners.
- Initiate and advance partnership conversations — from early relationship-building to pilot collaborations.
- Work closely with HQ teams to translate promising relationships into repeatable partnership or GTM models.
- Clearly and confidently explain the positioning and value of:
Subotiz — AI-native subscription & billing for digital-first businesses. - Gather ecosystem signals, partner feedback, and market insights, and translate them into actionable input for product, BD, and leadership teams.
- Collaborate effectively with globally distributed teams with flexibility and efficient communication.
- Act as a cultural and commercial bridge between US ecosystem dynamics and HQ execution.
- Based in the San Francisco Bay Area and actively embedded in the local startup / tech ecosystem.
- Comfortable attending events, building relationships without a script, and representing a company independently.
- Professional proficiency in both English and Mandarin is required to facilitate effective communication with our Asia-based founders, partners, and cross-regional internal teams.
- Able to exercise sound commercial judgment and distinguish between early signals and scalable opportunities.
- Self-directed, socially confident, and thoughtful about long-term value creation.
- Experience in SaaS, e-commerce, payments, subscriptions, AI tools, or developer platforms.
- Background in ecosystem, partnerships, community, BD, or early-stage GTM roles.
- Experience partnering with globally distributed teams, including teams based in Asia.
This is a foundational ecosystem role.
You will help shape how Subotiz builds partnerships, positions ourselves, and grows in the US market.
You’ll work closely with founders and leadership, influence GTM and product direction, and help convert early ecosystem relationships into durable growth channels.
