Whatyou will do
- Design and implement scalable, reliable data architectures (data warehouse, data lake/lakehouse, hybrid) and data models (e.g., dimensional, normalized, semantic layers) that support current and future product and analytics needs.
- Drive data best practices, patterns, and governance (e.g., data quality, test automation, alerting/monitoring, lineage, documentation) across the organization.
- Improve data pipelines, orchestration, and tooling so data is accessible, accurate, complete, and performant for cross-functional consumers.
- Work with product, engineering, and business leaders to make data accessible for AI/ML, analytics, supporting clear, actionable insights and reliable foundations for decision-making and customer-facing products.
- Guide and mentor other data engineers; contribute to hiring, leveling, and technical development of the data engineering function.
- 8+ years of experience in data engineering or related roles, with a track record of owning and delivering reliable, performant data platforms and services.
- Strong grasp of concepts and methods for capturing, transforming, testing, and storing data assets in a cloud-native environment; demonstrated ability to make sound design choices, evangelize solutions, and drive implementation and adoption of a modern data architecture.
- Experience solving complex data problems using SQL and Python; familiarity with Pandas, Spark, CTEs, window functions, or other data-focused libraries.
- Experience designing and evolving data models (e.g., star/snowflake schemas, normalized models, data marts, semantic layers) and driving consistency and reusability across analytics and product use cases.
- Prior experience in healthcare or Fin Tech, and familiarity with HIPAA, PHI, or financial data compliance and security practices, is a plus.
- An opportunity to positively affect the lives of thousands of patients
- A chance to join a high-growth company at an early stage.
- Contribute to the development of a product that revolutionizes medical payments in ways never seen before.
- Become a key member of a collaborative, high performing team, shaping its growth and success.
- Competitive pay, benefits and stock options.
