About the Opportunity:

We are seeking an experienced Technical Project Manager with a strong focus on data-related projects and a high-priority requirement for experience in managing projects within Asset Management Companies. The ideal consultant will have a deep understanding of data governance, data mining, and cloud technologies, particularly within the Microsoft ecosystem. This role demands a versatile professional who can lead diverse technical projects, gather requirements, and communicate effectively with both technical teams and senior executives.

Responsibilities:

* Lead and manage technical projects from initiation to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.

* Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans, including timelines, milestones, resource allocation, and deliverables.

* Collaborate with different stakeholders to gather requirements, define project scope, and ensure alignment with business objectives.

* Coordinate cross-functional teams, including IT, business units, and external vendors, to achieve successful project outcomes.

* Monitor project progress, identify risks and issues, and implement mitigation strategies.

* Utilize Jira for project tracking, task management, and reporting.

* Ensure the team adheres to Agile methodologies and best practices.

* Leverage Azure Cloud experience for future cloud-based projects.

* Serve as a versatile resource, demonstrating readiness to be deployed into different projects as and when required.

* Maintain clear, effective, and consistent communication with all project stakeholders, ensuring that all parties are kept abreast of project developments.

Requirements:

* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.

* 7-15 years of experience as a Technical Project Manager, with a proven track record in managing complex IT and data-related projects.

* High-priority requirement:
Previous experience managing projects within Asset Management Companies.

* Technical

Skills:

* Solid technical background with knowledge of software development lifecycle, IT infrastructure, and enterprise systems.

* Strong experience with Jira and Confluence.

* Knowledge of Azure Cloud is highly desirable; familiarity with other cloud platforms is a plus.

* Experience with Microsoft technologies, including Azure, SharePoint, Teams, and M365.

* Familiarity with Snowflake and Attacama for data governance and management is a plus.

* Background in data-related projects-data migration, cloud integration, and data governance.

* Nice to Have:

* Experience in setting up and managing Data Loss Prevention Programs.

* Experience in setting up and managing testing protocols to ensure project deliverables meet quality standards.

* Soft Skills:

* Strong leadership skills with the ability to lead cross-functional teams and projects.

* Excellent communication skills, capable of engaging with both technical teams and senior executives.

* Ability to gather requirements and facilitate stakeholder conversations.
