Lead Integration Engineer

The Lead Integration Engineer will design, develop, and support complex integration solutions across cloud and on-premises environments.

This role requires expertise in middleware technologies, cloud services, Infrastructure as Code, and programming languages used for integration workflows.

The engineer will collaborate with cross-functional teams, provide development and production support, and contribute to continuous improvement of integration architecture and processes.

Strong analytical and communication skills are essential for translating technical requirements into scalable, reliable, and efficient integration solutions.

• Contribute to the development, testing, implementation, and evaluation of complex integration solutions in an Agile environment.
• Provide programming support for integration workflows, including code development, deployment, and solution feasibility assessments.
• Support and troubleshoot production integration solutions, communicate findings effectively, and recommend improvements to development and maintenance practices.
• Contribute to the design of technology infrastructure and configuration standards; recommend process improvements.
• Review and implement complex patches, application upgrades, and software packages.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation, including use cases, scripts, and integration specifications.
• Conduct technical research and remain current with evolving technology trends.
• Participate in cross-functional team initiatives and process improvement efforts.
• Provide customer-focused communication when addressing technical issues or requirements.
• May require extended hours, on-call responsibilities, and up to 15% travel, including occasional overnight stays.

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• Experience with IBM ACE/Web Sphere MQ, API-SG/MQ/MFT.
• Experience with AWS cloud technologies including Lambda, RDS, EC2, storage services, serverless components, and migration services.
• Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform.
• Experience with messaging-based middleware, AWS API Gateway, and integration technologies.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Node.js, Python, or Java, along with JSON/XML data formats.
• Experience creating alerts and monitoring dashboards for logs and system metrics.
• Strong analytical and technical problem-solving skills.
• Experience working on Agile projects and participating in daily scrum activities.
• Strong attention to detail, ensuring high data integrity and accuracy.
• Strong oral and written communication skills with the ability to convey technical concepts clearly.
• Ability to translate technical information into non-technical terms.
• Broad knowledge of programming concepts, design, implementation, and testing practices.
• Ability to work directly with customers, understand business requirements, analyze system complexity, and identify risks.

• Experience with security concepts, including IAM roles, Kerberos, authorization, and encryption.
• Experience with Dev Sec Ops  and CI/CD tools such as Git Lab or Jenkins.
• Experience in environments requiring advanced integration capabilities or middleware expertise.
