Developer Relations Lead

Overview

We’re hiring a Developer Relations Lead to build our presence in developer communities and ensure that both human developers and AI coding agents have an exceptional experience building with Sapiom’s platform.

• Community & Awareness:
  Build authentic relationships in AI/ML and developer communities. Create content (tutorials, blog posts, videos, talks) that helps developers understand agentic commerce and how to build with Sapiom. Represent us at conferences, meetups, and online forums.

  Be the internal advocate for developers. Work closely with product and engineering to identify friction points, improve documentation, refine APIs, and ensure our SDK is a joy to use. You ll often be the first to experience what developers experience and the loudest voice for fixing what s broken.
• Demos & Sandboxes:
  Build compelling demo agents and sandbox environments that showcase what s possible with Sapiom. These aren t just marketing assets, they re tools that help developers understand patterns, test integrations, and accelerate their own builds.
• Onboarding & Enablement:
  Support developers from first discovery through production deployment. Create onboarding flows, office hours, and resources that reduce time-to-value. Help design partner developers succeed and turn their wins into case studies.

• Community Hub:
  You ve established Sapiom s presence in key communities (AI agent builders, LLM application developers). Developers building agentic applications have heard of us and understand what we do.
• Developers Advocacy:
  Our documentation, SDKs, and sandbox environments are cited as best-in-class. Time from signup to first successful transaction has meaningfully decreased. Developer NPS is strong. A cohort of developers actively advocates for Sapiom, writing about us, recommending us, building interesting things and sharing them publicly.
• Agent-Ready Standard:
  You have audited and optimized our documentation and SDKs specifically for AI consumption (e.g., clear LLM-readable schemas, comprehensive .mdx guides), resulting in a measurable decrease in agent hallucinations when using our tool.
• Magic Demo Library:
  You ve built 3-5 demo agents that clearly showcase Sapiom s capabilities across different use cases. These demos are used in sales conversations, conference talks, and self-serve exploration.
• People Know You:
  You ve established yourself as the connective tissue between our developer community and our product team. Feature requests and pain points flow from developers to product; improvements flow back out with clear communication.

• You Ship:
  Whether as an engineer, Dev Rel, or technical founder, you ve shipped products, tools, or content that developers actually adopted. You understand the developer experience because you ve lived it.
• Community-First:
  You genuinely enjoy helping people. Whether it’s debugging a niche edge case on Discord at 10pm or hosting a hackathon, you thrive on the energy of the builder community.
• Clear Communicator:
  You can explain complex technical concepts simply – in writing, on stage, and in 1:1 conversations. You write documentation people actually read and create content people actually share.
• Deeply AI Curious:
  You re already experimenting with LLMs, building agentic applications, or at minimum obsessively following the space. You understand why financial infrastructure for agents is a meaningful problem.
• Ambiguity Navigator:
  As an early hire at a seed-stage startup, you ll define this function as much as execute it. You thrive when given a goal and the autonomy to figure out how to achieve it.
• Public Builder:
  You have some combination of: an active Git Hub, a technical blog, a Twitter/X presence, conference talks, or open-source contributions. Developers already know you, or they will soon.
• Noise Synthesizer:
  You can take 50 disparate pieces of feedback from a Git Hub issue thread and distill them into a single, actionable product requirement.

Sapiom gives AI agents trusted access to the API economy. Every generational shift in commerce creates a new financial giant:

• In-person → Visa / Mastercard
• Internet → Pay Pal / Stripe / Adyen
• Agentic → ?

This is not incremental SaaS; it’s foundational infrastructure. We’re building the next Stripe for the machine economy.
