Job Description

We’re looking for a VP, Growth Marketing to build and scale a modern growth engine that elevates our brand while delivering measurable customer and revenue growth. You’ll own the full-funnel strategy—from brand positioning and creative direction to performance marketing and rapid experimentation (“growth hacking”) and translate insights into repeatable, scalable playbooks.

You’ll lead a high-performing team and collaborate closely with Product, Data, Sales/Partnerships, Creative, and Finance to grow awareness, acquisition, activation, retention, and LTV without losing the brand’s voice.

Responsibilities

Brand & positioning (build demand, trust, and differentiation)
  • Define and evolve brand strategy, messaging, and narrative across channels and audiences.
  • Partner with Creative/Content to establish a strong creative system (campaign concepts, templates, tone, visual guidelines).
  • Lead integrated campaigns (launches, seasonal moments, category narratives) that drive awareness and consideration.
  • Own brand health measurement (awareness, perception, share of voice, brand lift) and connect it to funnel impact.
Performance marketing & paid growth (efficient, scalable acquisition)
  • Own paid acquisition strategy and execution across channels such as Search, Social, Display, Video, Affiliates/Influencers, and emerging platforms.
  • Build a disciplined measurement approach: CAC , ROAS , MER , incrementality, cohort LTV , payback, attribution strategy.
  • Develop channel-specific playbooks and optimization routines (bidding, creative testing, landing page conversion, audience strategy).
  • Manage agency/vendor relationships and negotiate contracts to maximize ROI and speed.
Growth hacking & experimentation (move fast, learn faster)
  • Create an experimentation culture with rapid test cycles across ads, landing pages, onboarding, referral loops, and lifecycle.
  • Identify and scale “unfair advantages” (viral/referral mechanics, partnerships, community loops, product-led growth motions).
  • Launch and iterate on conversion rate optimization (CRO) and funnel improvements with Product and Analytics.
  • Build a growth “operating system”: test backlog, hypotheses, prioritization framework, success metrics, post-mortems, knowledge base.
Lifecycle, retention & revenue expansion
  • Own lifecycle strategy (email, push, SMS, in-app) to increase activation, repeat usage, and monetization.
  • Partner with Product to improve onboarding and key habit-forming moments.
  • Develop segmentation and personalization to improve engagement and reduce churn.
  • Drive initiatives for upsell/cross-sell where applicable.
Analytics, measurement & budgeting
  • Establish clear KPI architecture and dashboards across the funnel.
  • Improve attribution and measurement rigor ( MMM /incrementality tests where relevant).
  • Build and manage marketing budgets with forecasting, scenario planning, and performance reporting.
  • Communicate performance clearly to execs and stakeholders—what’s working, what’s not, and what’s next.
Leadership & team building
  • Hire, coach, and scale a team of growth leaders across brand, paid, lifecycle, creative strategy, and analytics.
