Infrastructure Engineer

Our client is looking for a Backend Engineer who actually enjoys the infrastructure side of the house. You’ll be joining a team that’s moving past the "move fast and break things" phase and into the "scale and make it bulletproof" phase.

You’ll spend a majority of your time on core backend features and the rest on ensuring the infrastructure (AWS/K8s/Terraform) is automated, observable, and scalable.

• Languages: Go, Python and or Java
• Cloud/Infra: AWS, Kubernetes, Terraform, CI/CD (Git Hub Actions/Git Lab)
• Observability: Prometheus, Grafana, or Datadog

• Build and maintain high-concurrency APIs and microservices.
• Own the "plumbing"—automating deployments and managing cloud infrastructure as code.
• Optimize database performance and troubleshoot scaling bottlenecks.
• Participate in architectural "whiteboard" sessions to decide how we build the next generation of the platform.

• Experience: 3+ years in a backend-heavy or Dev Ops-leaning role.
• Systems Thinking: You don’t just write code; you care about how it runs, how it fails, and how it scales.
• Ownership: You’re comfortable taking a messy problem and turning it into a clean, documented solution.
• Pragmatism: You prefer simple, reliable solutions over the "hyped" tech of the week.
