Overview
Our Mission
America’s defense industrial base runs on infrastructure built in the 1980s. Distributors and manufacturers managing our supply chain still manually stitch together email threads, supplier quotes, PDFs, government solicitations, and archaic ERP exports to manage billions of dollars passing through our supply chain in component level assemblies. Sales Patriot changes that. We’re building the AI-native command center for U.S. defense logistics, eliminating the manual bottlenecks slowing down critical national security workflows.
From F-35 bearings to Blackhawk rotor hubs, we’re helping distributors and manufactures quote faster, win more, and deliver the parts that keep NATO safe.

Deployment Strategist
If you don’t know Type Script and at least one JS-based frontend framework, don’t apply.
What You’ll DoAs a Forward Deployed Engineer at Sales Patriot, you will sit at the intersection of engineering, customers, and execution
. You’ll work closely with the founders, Deployment Strategists, and the core platform team to bring Sales Patriot live inside customer environments across the United States.
This is not a remote-only, heads-down coding role. You will travel frequently
, work on-site with customers
, and be responsible for turning messy, real-world workflows into functioning software under real deadlines.
Your code — and your ability to communicate, adapt, and lead in front of customers — will directly impact millions of dollars in defense and supply-chain outcomes.
No two weeks will look the same. Expect things like:
- Traveling to customer sites across the U.S. to lead and support implementations
- Working directly with customer stakeholders to understand workflows, constraints, and pain points
- Translating ambiguous, high-pressure customer needs into real product and platform improvements
- Contributing to the core platform: frontend components, backend services, and database architecture
- Integrating with legacy government and ERP systems under tight timelines
- Partnering with Deployment Strategists to unblock customers and drive successful go-lives
- Acting as the technical face of Sales Patriot during on-site deployments
Trial by fire: you will be onboarded during an active on-site implementation. Expect long days, real pressure, and direct customer exposure. Everyone at Sales Patriot experiences the forward-deployed reality.
What Success Looks Like In This RoleYou ship useful, maintainable, production-ready code — but code is not the finish line.
You Communicate Clearly And Confidently With
- Customers (many of whom are non-technical, high-stakes decision-makers)
- Founders
- Deployment Strategists
- Senior Engineers
That Means You Can
- Explain technical tradeoffs in plain English
- Set realistic expectations with customers and internal teams
- Own deadlines — and speak up early when something will slip
- Make decisions under pressure and stand behind them
You Set The Bar For Customer-centric Engineering
- You treat code as a means to delivering value, not an end in itself
- You own problems end-to-end, from first customer conversation to production deployment
- You ruthlessly eliminate bad practices while understanding when speed matters more than elegance
What You Should Bring To The Table
- Proven experience shipping real products or systems
- Strong proficiency in Type Script and Java Script
- Experience with at least one modern frontend framework (React, Next.js, Svelte, etc.)
- Solid understanding of SQL databases (Postgres preferred)
- Comfort operating in ambiguous, high-pressure environments
- High social intelligence: you enjoy talking to customers, asking questions, and leading conversations
- Willingness to travel frequently and work on-site with customers across the U.S.
