Senior Application Developer

We are seeking a Senior Integration Engineer with strong expertise in ESB development using Mule Soft and IBM ACE.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and developing complex service bus integrations and APIs, supporting production environments, and collaborating across cross-functional teams.

This role requires hands-on experience with cloud platforms, messaging technologies, and API development.

• Design and develop complex integrations and APIs using Mule Soft Anypoint and IBM IIB/ACE platforms.
• Migrate integration functionality from Mule Soft to IBM ACE.
• Support all phases of the System Development Lifecycle (SDLC).
• Provide production support and resolve technical issues with a customer-focused approach.
• Collaborate with architects, developers, business analysts, and product managers to deliver integration solutions.
• Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical specifications and use cases.
• Implement secure systems across heterogeneous security technologies.
• Ensure high performance and reliability of ESB solutions.
• Participate in customer onboarding and product enhancement initiatives.
• Utilize AWS services and cloud computing environments for integration development.
• Automate deployments and manage environments across development stages.
• Monitor ESB performance and troubleshoot issues.
• Follow Agile and Scrum methodologies and participate in peer reviews and version control processes.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
• 3+ years of experience in ESB development using Mule Soft and IBM IIB/ACE.
• Experience with IBM MQ and similar messaging technologies.
• 2+ years of experience with application servers and relational databases (Oracle, Amazon RDS).
• 2+ years of experience in production support and customer service.
• Strong understanding of cloud platforms (AWS preferred).
• Experience with API design, RAML, REST/SOAP, and service registry/gateway implementations.
• Proficiency in Java, .NET, ESQL, ODBC/JDBC.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and collaboration tools (JIRA, Confluence, MS Teams).
• Excellent communication, analytical, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively across teams.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a desire to continuously learn new technologies.

• Experience with Mule Soft Anypoint 4.0 and higher.
• Experience with MQ 8/9 and Web Services.
• Experience with microservice architectures and cloud deployments.
• Familiarity with
  * nix scripting and code analysis tools.
• Experience with collaboration and project management tools (Subversion, ALM, MS Planner).
• Technical expertise across diverse platforms and solutions.
