Whatyou’ll do
As Social Media Manager for Organic Engagement, you’ll be the voice and ears of Docu Sign in digital spaces where authentic conversations happen. You’re a social-savvy professional who loves advocating for customers, thrives on real-time engagement, understands diverse online communities, and can add value to conversations without being overly promotional.
This role covers monitoring trends, joining relevant conversations, and helping Docu Sign show up as a helpful, human presence across platforms such as Reddit, Linked In, Instagram, Twitter/X, and beyond. You’ll support Docu Sign’s owned channels and social content by contributing engaging, timely, and helpful material. You’ll work with the Director of Organic Social Communications to execute day-to-day community management and organic conversations.
You’re a natural conversationalist with good judgment for when to engage and what to say. You understand platform cultures, especially community-driven spaces like Reddit, and can participate authentically. You’re adaptable in tone for different audiences and can turn customer questions into opportunities to educate and build relationships. You’ll work independently on daily community interactions and collaborate with cross-functional teams on bigger opportunities.
You bring empathy, humor, and authenticity to interactions and view listening as essential as posting.
This position is an individual contributor role reporting to the Senior Director of Corporate Communications.
Responsibilities- Manage day-to-day community engagement across Docu Sign’s social channels, with focus on Reddit, Linked In, Instagram, and emerging platforms
- Monitor conversations about Docu Sign, our products, and relevant industry topics; identify opportunities to add value and participate authentically
- Build and nurture relationships with community members, brand advocates, customers, and industry voices
- Respond to comments, questions, and mentions with an appropriate tone and messaging aligned to Docu Sign’s brand voice
- Identify trending topics where Docu Sign can participate and add value, particularly in B2B and tech communities
- Collaborate with communications, customer support, product, and marketing teams to surface customer feedback
- Contribute to content creation by identifying user-generated content opportunities and real-time moments
- Track and report on community sentiment and engagement metrics to inform strategy
- Develop and maintain community guidelines and best practices for engagement across platforms
- Support crisis monitoring and appropriate response efforts
- Stay current on platform updates and best practices for authentic brand engagement
- Test and experiment with new engagement tactics to continuously improve the community presence
Basic
- 5+ years of experience in social media management, community management, or digital engagement
- Experience managing brand presence on Reddit and other community-driven platforms
- Experience with social listening and monitoring tools
- Flexibility and a bias to action
Preferred
- BS/BA degree or equivalent
- Excellent judgment with the ability to escalate when needed
- Strong writing skills with ability to adapt tone for different platforms
- Experience in B2B technology, SaaS, or enterprise software
- Active experience on platforms like Reddit with understanding of community culture
- Experience collaborating with PR, product marketing, and customer support
