Fleet & Asset Tracking Systems Design Specialist

Job Description:

• We are seeking a Fleet & Asset Tracking Systems Design Specialist (Regulatory Ops, Inventory/Warehouse Mgmt.) who will take ownership of designing and implementing scalable systems for managing client’s growing fleet compliance needs. As our company expands into new markets, the volume of regulatory materials — such as license plates, toll tags, and permits — continues to grow.

• This role is NOT just about managing assets; it’s about building structured, repeatable systems that can track, store, and distribute compliance materials efficiently and  will play a critical role in ensuring our compliance operations are future-ready, reliable, and capable of supporting our rapid expansion.

• System Design & Scaling:
  Architect and implement process frameworks and digital tracking systems for regulatory compliance assets, ensuring scalability as we enter new markets.

• Tracking & Automation:
  Establish tools, workflows, and potential automation to track, log, and distribute license plates, toll tags, permits, and related materials.

• Process Optimization:
  Introduce and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) that streamline asset management while minimizing errors.

• Regulatory Compliance:
  Partner with compliance teams to ensure workflows adhere to local, state, and federal requirements.

• Cross-functional Collaboration:
  
  Work with fleet, logistics, and operations teams to integrate compliance systems into broader operational processes.

• Technology Enablement:
  Evaluate, recommend, and implement software platforms (ERP, fleet management, or asset tracking tools) to improve visibility, reporting, and scalability.

• On-site Execution:
  Act as the San Francisco point person, ensuring hands-on management while driving long-term system design.

• 3–6 years of experience in operations, logistics, fleet management, or compliance functions.

• Proven expertise in system design, workflow development, and process optimization.

• Strong background in scalable asset tracking (inventory management, ERP systems, or fleet compliance platforms).

• Familiarity with transportation, mobility, logistics, or automotive industries is a strong plus.

• Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail and accuracy.

• Ability to translate operational needs into structured, repeatable systems.

• Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
