Position: Chief Marketing Officer (CMO)

Cornelis Networks delivers the world’s highest performance scale-out networking solutions for AI and HPC datacenters. Our differentiated architecture seamlessly integrates hardware, software and system level technologies to maximize the efficiency of GPU, CPU and accelerator-based compute clusters at any scale. Our solutions drive breakthroughs in AI & HPC workloads, empowering our customers to push the boundaries of innovation. Backed by top-tier venture capital and strategic investors, we are committed to innovation, performance and scalability - solving the world’s most demanding computational challenges with our next-generation networking solutions.

We are a fast-growing, forward-thinking team of architects, engineers, and business professionals with a proven track record of building successful products and companies. As a global organization, our team spans multiple U.S. states and six countries, and we continue to expand with exceptional talent in onsite, hybrid, and fully remote roles.

Position Overview

Cornelis Networks is seeking a Chief Marketing Officer to lead global marketing at a critical inflection point for the company and the broader AI infrastructure market. This role reports directly to the CEO and is a key member of the executive leadership team.

The ideal candidate is a technically fluent marketing leader who understands how infrastructure and systems buyers think, evaluate, and make decisions. While this role does not require an engineering background, it does require the ability to engage credibly with technical customers, internal architects, and product leaders — and to translate complex technology into clear, differentiated, and accurate market messaging.

The CMO will own awareness, positioning, brand, events, and demand generation, working in close partnership with Product Marketing and Sales to drive pipeline, customer adoption, and long-term category leadership. This is an exciting opportunity for a creative, results-oriented marketing leader who thrives in dynamic environments, takes ownership, and brings a “can-do” mindset to building something meaningful.

Key Responsibilities
  • Define and execute a global marketing strategy aligned with company growth objectives and product roadmap
  • Serve as a senior leader and trusted partner to the CEO, and executive team, contributing market insight and customer perspective
  • Build, lead, and scale a high-performing marketing organization with clear accountability and measurable impact
  • Act as a credible voice of the company in industry forums
  • Own the company and product value propositions, messaging and brand across all channels
  • Ensure marketing content and narratives are technically accurate, differentiated, and resonant with AI and HPC buyers
  • Translate complex architectural advantages into clear business and performance outcomes for customers
  • Establish Cornelis as a thought leader in AI networking, scale-out systems, and HPC infrastructure
Awareness, Events, Press & Analyst Relations
  • Lead public relations, analyst relations, and industry engagement (including HPC and AI conferences, technical events, and briefings)
  • Build and execute an event strategy for impactful presence and activation at industry, customer, and partner events
  • Build trusted relationships with industry analysts, influencers, and ecosystem partners
Demand Generation & Go-to-Market Execution
  • Design and scale integrated demand generation programs across digital, content, field, partner, and event marketing
  • Partner closely with Sales to drive pipeline creation and opportunity development in target accounts
  • Collaborate with Product Marketing to deliver launch plans, campaigns, technical content, and proof points
  • Oversee development of blogs, white papers, webinars, customer case studies, and technical collateral that support the buyer journey
  • Develop deep understanding of target customers, buyer personas, and decision-making processes in AI and HPC infrastructure markets
  • Use customer insight to refine messaging, campaigns, and go-to-market strategies
  • Ensure marketing reflects how technical buyers evaluate performance, scalability, reliability, and risk
