One product line is the AWS Nitro SoC – a custom system‑on‑chip delivering high‑performance virtualization, security, scalability and hardware acceleration optimized for AWS cloud infrastructure and services. It powers the latest EC2 instance types.

The Nitro core software team supplies the first software envelope that drives the Nitro SoC and its surroundings. As part of this team, you will design, develop, test and deploy changes to the Nitro software that contribute to the operational excellence of one of the key hardware interfaces of the Nitro SoC – PCI express. Students that join the team will work directly with custom hardware and firmware, gaining experience in systems engineering and computer architecture, solving challenging technical problems while learning from senior engineers.

• University student studying Electrical Engineering / Computer Engineering / Computer Science / or similar (BSc) with at least 3 semesters left before graduation
• Available to work 2-3 days weekly from the office
• Proficiency coding in C

• Understanding of embedded systems
• Team player, excellent at multitasking and independent learning
