• Facilitate and lead agile ceremonies:
  Daily scrums, Sprint demos, Retrospectives, Backlog Grooming, Sprint Planning, PI Planning.
• Guide the team to follow Agile/Scrum practices and promote prioritization, readiness, and commitment for each Sprint and Program Increment.
• Coach the team to address issues with the Agile/Scrum process and instill an "Inspect & Adapt" culture.
• Proactively remove impediments to team agility and guide the team(s) on methods to escalate when needed to prevent challenges from becoming blockers.
• Protect the team from disturbances and conflicting priorities.
• Manage team workload and negotiate time with managers or Product Management when needed.
• Manage dependencies across other Agile teams and work closely with other Scrum Masters and Program Manager/RTE.
• Work closely with the Product Owner, Product Analysts, and Solutions Lead to ensure sprints are healthy and work is effectively delivered by the team.
• Own the Jira project and handle management of all issues in Jira for the team, using metrics such as burnup/down charts, release burndowns, and team velocity to assess health and identify improvement opportunities.
• Use Jira to track team capacity based on tangible metrics.

• 1 year minimum experience as a Scrum Master in an IT or software development setting.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or equivalent work experience.
• Proficiency using Jira (managing scrum boards and generating metrics).
• Demonstrated ability to coach individuals in a scrum team.
• Clear and effective verbal and written communication skills for explaining technical and project related information to stakeholders.
• Proven ability to balance competing priorities.
• Requires PMI-ACP, CSM, or equivalent certification.
