Senior Scrum Master

The Senior Scrum Master will support Scrum teams while advocating for Agile principles and ensuring compliance with the Scrum framework. This role drives successful product delivery by streamlining processes, removing obstacles, and optimizing team performance.

You will act as a coach, mentor and facilitator of Agile practices, ensuring teams deliver on sprint goals and Program Increment objectives while fostering continuous improvement.

• Facilitates and is accountable for leading the team through the agile ceremonies, including daily scrums, sprint planning, and PI planning.
• Leads one or more cross‑functional Agile teams in implementing and improving Agile practices.
• Serves as the primary communication hub between product or program management and development teams to anticipate risks, formulate plans and ensure timely sprint delivery.
• Encourages transparency, decision‑making, and conflict resolution to build trust and team cohesion.
• Collaborates with Product Owners and Managers on short‑term and long‑term release planning, backlog grooming, and prioritization.
• Partners with program and release managers on production deployment activities.
• Tracks, analyzes and communicates Agile adoption and performance metrics, including velocity, burn‑down, cycle time and quality metrics.
• Coaches teams on user story sizing, acceptance criteria, and Agile process improvements.
• Collaborates with other Scrum Masters in coordinating Scrum of Scrums across teams.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or related field.
• At least 5 years of IT experience and at least 1 year of Scrum execution in IT or software development.
• Strong knowledge of Agile methodologies and frameworks using Scrum, SAFe and Scaled Agile.
• Experience leading teams and fostering high‑performing team dynamics.
• Proficiency with Agile tools such as Jira, Jira Align and Confluence.
• Cloud migration knowledge is highly preferred.
• PMI‑ACP, CSM, SAFe, or equivalent Agile certification preferred.
• Solid understanding of iterative and incremental development principles.
