Clients Platforms Team designs and builds the hardware, software and networking technologies that power all of Client’s services. As a Networking Test Engineer you make sure that massive and growing network is operating at its peak potential. You have hands‑on experience with complex networking equipment, a deep understanding of networking protocols, test design and implementation chops and a background in IP network design.
It's your job to make sure cutting‑edge technology can perform at scale.
- Design and setup test labs, test beds to exercise and test wireless access network.
- Work with software engineers and test engineers to create test cases, write test scripts and execute tests.
- Test complex hardware/software systems that push the frontier in hardware design, software design, and system integration.
Minimum qualifications:
- 5 years of development experience in Python, Perl, Tcl (or equivalent).
- Experience with networking and wireless technologies.
Preferred qualifications:
- 3 years of experience in testing and debugging in LTE, WiMAX, or Ethernet switches.
- Strong scripting proficiency in Linux, OS X or Unix based shell environment.
- Solid understanding of networking in Linux and test tools.
