Base pay range$30.00/hr - $42.00/hr
Helpdesk Technician II (Part-Time, Onsite)
Location: San Francisco, CA (Financial District)
Schedule: 16 hours/week | 2 days onsite (Wednesday + Monday or Thursday)
Pay Range: $30–$40/hr
Duration: 3-month contract with possibility to extend or convert to full-time
Benefits: Eligible for medical, dental, vision, and 401(k)
About the Role
A global restaurant technology company is seeking a Helpdesk Technician II to provide onsite IT support for its San Francisco headquarters. You’ll be the sole IT resource onsite, supporting about 60 users—including executives—in a mostly Mac environment. This is a great opportunity to make an impact and potentially grow into a full‑time role.
Responsibilities
- Provide deskside and executive support for Mac (75%) and Windows (25%) devices
- Troubleshoot hardware/software issues and manage conference room tech (Zoom)
- Support tools like Kandji, Endpoint Central, Okta, and Google Workspace
- Handle laptop setups, monitor installs, cable management, and light network checks
- Travel once a month to a local warehouse
Requirements
- 2–3 years of Helpdesk or Deskside Support experience
- Strong Mac support experience
- Familiarity with Kandji, Endpoint Central, Google Workspace, and Zoom
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Preferred:
Okta MFA knowledge, white‑glove support, CompTIA certifications
