Human Resources Manager

Languages:

Spanish, Mandarin, or Cantonese highly preferred

• Develop, implement, and uphold HR policies, procedures, and compliance programs.
• Lead employee relations, investigations, corrective actions, and conflict resolution.
• Partner with leadership to support talent development, retention, and workplace culture.
• Champion service‑oriented HR that aligns with a luxury hospitality environment.
• Manage union‑related matters, grievances, and contract interpretation under the National Labor Relations Act (NLRA).

• Ensure all compliance tasks are completed (e.g., safety training, sexual harassment tutorials, onboarding documentation).
• Manage benefits administration, leaves of absence, and employee file management.
• Support recruitment, hiring, and onboarding workflows.
• Maintain HR systems (Paylocity, Outlook, Excel) and reporting accuracy.
• Serve as a go‑getter and problem solver.

• 5+ years of HR management or advanced generalist experience
• Background in hospitality, private clubs, luxury hotels, or high‑touch service environments
• Strong expertise in California employment law
  , compliance, and investigations
• Experience building HR structure and processes from scratch
• Professional, polished, and comfortable in a highly formal environment
• Relationship‑driven, discreet, and trusted by both leadership and staff
• Multilingual skills (Spanish, Mandarin, Cantonese) highly preferred, but not required
• Tech proficiency:
  Paylocity, Excel, Outlook
• Salary: $140,000–$150,000
  , depending on experience
