Languages:

- Develop, implement, and uphold HR policies, procedures, and compliance programs.
- Lead employee relations, investigations, corrective actions, and conflict resolution.
- Partner with leadership to support talent development, retention, and workplace culture.
- Champion service‑oriented HR that aligns with a luxury hospitality environment.
- Manage union‑related matters, grievances, and contract interpretation under the National Labor Relations Act (NLRA).
- Ensure all compliance tasks are completed (e.g., safety training, sexual harassment tutorials, onboarding documentation).
- Manage benefits administration, leaves of absence, and employee file management.
- Support recruitment, hiring, and onboarding workflows.
- Maintain HR systems (Paylocity, Outlook, Excel) and reporting accuracy.
- Serve as a go‑getter and problem solver.
- 5+ years of HR management or advanced generalist experience
- Background in hospitality, private clubs, luxury hotels, or high‑touch service environments
- Strong expertise in California employment law
, compliance, and investigations - Experience building HR structure and processes from scratch
- Professional, polished, and comfortable in a highly formal environment
- Relationship‑driven, discreet, and trusted by both leadership and staff
- Multilingual skills (Spanish, Mandarin, Cantonese) highly preferred, but not required
- Tech proficiency:
Paylocity, Excel, Outlook - Salary: $140,000–$150,000
