Job Description
Our start-up client is looking for a mid-level GTM recruiter. This is a fully remote six-month contract with the possibility of conversion. The ideal candidate will be responsible for:
- Developing and implementing effective sourcing strategies to identify top GTM talent
- Managing the full recruitment lifecycle for GTM roles, including sales, marketing, and customer success positions
- Collaborating with hiring managers to understand role requirements and create compelling job descriptions
- Utilizing data-driven approaches to optimize recruitment processes and improve hiring outcomes
- Representing the company at industry events and networking opportunities to attract top talent
- Ensuring a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment process
Tools & onboarding expectations (unchanged)
- Familiar with Ashby
- Tools like Gem and Modern Loop (or equivalents), plus Slack and Linked In Recruiter
- Laptop will be provided
Target profile
- 2-4 years of recruiting experience is ideal.
- Sourcing-only is acceptable - this does not need to be a seasoned full-cycle closer.
- “Lighter” experience can work if they show strong general cognitive ability
, clear learning velocity, and real passion for recruiting + GTM
Core requirement:
- Must have experience hiring or sourcing engineers (software preferred; adjacent technical roles acceptable if the candidate can translate).
- Ability to quickly learn role requirements and identify signal in resumes/Linked In profiles (titles, scope, tech stack indicators, project impact, progression).
- Backgrounds that fit
- GTM
sourcer (in-house or agency) - Early-career GTM recruiter who has run some full-cycle, but may still be developing closing skills.
- GTM
- University recruiting is explicitly in-scope, especially if they’ve supported:
- Hiring manager coordination and process discipline
- Agency roots are a plus, but not required if activity level and curiosity are strong.
Operating environment
- Comfortable managing multiple reqs and partnering with multiple stakeholders.
- Can keep processes moving across time zones (US + Europe) with proactive updates and clean handoffs.
