Leading technology company is seeking an Employment Counsel for a 3 month contract. This is a hybrid role in San Francisco.
Scope of WorkTitle: Employment Counsel (contract)
Experience: 8+ Years
Location: United States
Duration: 3 Months
Pay Rate: $100 - $120 / hr ($200,000 - $240,000 annualized)
Responsibilities- Conduct a thorough legal compliance audit of recruiting and HR operations processes.
- Provide generalist overflow support to the HR and recruiting teams.
- Work closely with in-house teams to ensure legal compliance and mitigate potential risks.
- Assist with the development and implementation of employment policies and procedures.
- Advise on employment law matters, including employee relations, benefits, and compensation.
- 8+ years of experience in employment law, with a strong background as a generalist employment attorney.
- In-house experience is required.
- Highly detail-oriented and self-motivated.
- Strong emotional intelligence and ability to work well across multiple client groups and stakeholders.
- Flexibility to work 1-2 days onsite
- Ability to handle an overabundance of work and manage multiple priorities effectively.
