We’re hiring a Senior Technical Recruiter who is looking for autonomy, problem-solving, and cross-functional collaboration in a distributed, public SaaS organization operating in highly competitive markets around the world.
- Partner closely with Engineering, Product, and G&A business leaders to deeply understand their hiring needs and develop strategies that prioritize perseverance, adaptability, and a growth mindset.
- Source, engage, and assess candidates who not only have the skills but also the determination to push through obstacles and the passion to achieve ambitious goals.
- Guide candidates and hiring teams through a fast-paced, high-stakes interview process, ensuring a positive experience and a focus on long-term success.
- Continuously improve recruiting processes, learning from every experience and celebrating every hard-earned win.
- Serve as a culture ambassador to the world, modeling resilience and a passion for continuous improvement in every aspect of your work.

- Build and execute creative sourcing strategies to attract top technical and G&A talent who thrive in competitive environments.
- Screen and assess candidates for role fit.
- Manage the full-cycle recruiting process, providing a high-touch experience for candidates and hiring managers.
- Collaborate with cross-functional partners to ensure alignment and drive results.
- Use data and feedback to adapt quickly, learning from setbacks and coming back stronger.

- You have a proven track record of end-to-end recruitment of technical talent that demonstrates customer impact.

- You embrace feedback, learn from every experience, and are always looking for ways to improve.

- 5+ years of experience in full-cycle technical recruiting, ideally in fast-paced, high-growth environments.
- Demonstrated ability to identify and assess candidates for grit, resilience, and long-term potential in changing environments.
- Experience working in competitive markets where adaptability and perseverance are key.
- Strong relationship-building skills, with a track record of influencing and partnering with senior leaders.
- Data-driven, growth mindset, with the ability to learn from setbacks and continuously improve.
- Proven track record of sourcing global talent pools and fostering best-in-class hiring practices.
- Passion for staying current with industry trends and best practices in engineering, product, and the talent acquisition space.
- Experience with Greenhouse ATS.
- Experience using AI tools like ChatGPT to work and move faster.
Pager Duty is a hybrid workplace. We embrace in-person collaboration as part of our culture. This role is expected to come into the San Francisco office at least twice per week to thrive in the role.
