Overview
Join our estate leadership team and play a key role in shaping an exceptional, high-touch guest journey from arrival to farewell. This position leads the on-site experience, working closely with our Hospitality team to design and execute elevated visits, curated tastings, and signature events that showcase the very best of our property. You will oversee day-to-day guest operations, uphold and refine service standards, and coach a front-of-house team to deliver polished, personalized interactions that consistently exceed expectations and reflect our estate’s brand and values.
Responsibilities- Hospitality Leadership:
Responsible for planning, communication, and execution of hosted guest visits, tastings, and private experiences at the estate. - Deliver elevated, high-touch hospitality experiences for VIP, member, trade, and ownership-hosted visits, ensuring alignment with brand standards and discretion.
- Collaborate with the Member Relations Manager, the primary point of contact for mailing list members, to align member communications with on-site hospitality execution and ensure a seamless, brand-consistent experience from engagement through estate visits.
- Develop and implement new hospitality experiences that leverage the estate’s unique attributes and brand story.
- Manage hospitality-driven experiential objectives on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
- Lead the end-to-end planning and execution of on-site private, member, trade, and winery-hosted events at the estate.
- Coordinate events involving the winemaker at the estate, ensuring thoughtful planning and efficient use of time and resources.
- Manage and evolve signature estate-hosted events, including Lake Party, member events, employee events, Somm Summit, and Entourage.
- Partner with DTC, Wholesale, and Marketing teams to align on-site events with strategic objectives and brand positioning.
- Support DTC objectives by collaborating with DTC leadership to execute hospitality-driven, on-site initiatives focused on member acquisition and engagement.
- Support DTC offer periods and membership retention efforts through experiential programming.
- Partner with Wholesale teams, both domestic and export, to support trade-facing hospitality experiences hosted at the estate, as needed.
- Develop, manage, and track annual budgets for hospitality programming and events.
- Prioritize initiatives to balance daily hospitality operations, strategic projects, and brand-building activities.
- Identify cost-effective solutions while maintaining uncompromising service and quality standards.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Polished interpersonal skills with a professional, client-facing presence.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities in a fast-paced, high-touch environment.
- Proven ability to manage budgets with discipline and attention to detail.
- Strong hospitality-driven sales acumen and comfort engaging high-net-worth clients and partners.
- High level of professionalism, discretion, and sound judgment.
- Demonstrated ability to design and execute luxury hospitality experiences and events.
- Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Marketing, Business, or a related field.
- 7+ years of experience in hospitality, events, or client-facing roles, preferably within luxury, wine, or lifestyle brands.
- Experience managing complex hospitality experiences involving multiple teams and external partners.
- Experience with CRM systems and e-commerce platforms preferred.
- This is an on-site position; remote work is not available.
- Ability to stand, walk, and sit for extended periods during hospitality and event execution.
- Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Ability to lift and carry materials up to 40 lbs. as needed.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Ability to travel locally or regionally for estate-hosted hospitality events.
