The Front Office Agent is the first and last point of contact for guests at Grand Hyatt San Francisco. This role delivers warm, professional, and personalized service during guest arrivals, departures, and throughout the stay. The Front Office Agent ensures a seamless check-in and check-out experience while upholding Hyatt’s luxury brand standards and commitment to exceptional guest service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Greet guests warmly and professionally; provide efficient and accurate check-in and check-out services.
  • Register guests, assign rooms, verify payment methods, and issue room keys in accordance with Hyatt policies.
  • Respond to guest inquiries, special requests, and service needs promptly and courteously.
  • Handle guest concerns and service recovery opportunities with empathy and professionalism; elevate issues as needed.
  • Maintain accurate guest profiles, reservations, and billing information in the property management system.
  • Balance cash, credit, and folio transactions accurately at the end of each shift.
  • Coordinate with Housekeeping, Engineering, Bell/Door, and Concierge teams to ensure room readiness and guest satisfaction.
  • Promote hotel amenities, services, and local attractions to enhance the guest experience.
  • Follow all safety, security, and privacy policies, including guest data protection and cash-handling procedures.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and professional front desk area at all times.
  • Support group arrivals, VIP guests, and special events as assigned.
  • Adhere to Hyatt grooming standards and service behaviors.

This is an hourly position with compensation ranging from $36.07-$37.50 per hour.
