The Assistant Director of Operations plays a vital leadership role in the overall success of hotel operations. This position supports the Director of Operations in managing and overseeing multiple departments — including Front Office, Housekeeping, and Food & Beverage — to ensure an exceptional guest experience, efficient operations, and alignment with the hotel’s strategic goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in overseeing daily hotel operations to ensure a consistent, high‑quality guest experience.
  • Partner with department heads to ensure efficient staffing, training, scheduling, and performance management.
  • Drive operational excellence by analyzing performance data and implementing process improvements.
  • Ensure all departments comply with company standards, brand expectations, and regulatory requirements.
  • Support the Director of Operations in developing and executing strategies to meet or exceed service, revenue, and profitability goals.
  • Handle guest concerns and operational issues with a proactive, solution‑oriented approach.
  • Participate in budgeting, forecasting, and cost‑control measures.
  • Lead by example, fostering a positive and professional work culture aligned with company values.
  • Assist in preparing for and leading daily stand‑up meetings and operations reviews.
  • Support recruitment, onboarding, and training efforts across operational departments.

This is a salaried position with compensation ranging from $106,800‑$136,200.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred).
  • Minimum of 3‑5 years of experience in hotel operations, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or management role within the Rooms and Food & Beverage Division.
  • Strong knowledge of hotel operations, including front desk, housekeeping, and food & beverage.
  • Excellent leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple tasks, and solve problems efficiently.
  • Proficiency in hotel management software and MS Office.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
