Job Details:

• Provide compassionate patient care in interventional radiology setting

• Review and administer patient medications, treatments, and procedures in safe, effective, and age-appropriate manner

• Perform various tasks including starting IVs, accessing ports, administering medications, moderate sedation, managing vasoactive drips

• Assist with ventilator management on high acuity ICU patients

• Support anesthesia with induction and intubation/extubation for adults and pediatrics

• Work with patients of all age groups: infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics

• Handle 10-16 cases per day in fast-paced environment while managing multiple tasks simultaneously

• Must demonstrate and abide by radiation safety regulations

• Complete accurate and timely documentation of procedure and patient information

• Assist multidisciplinary team with room preparation and turnover for efficient workflow

• No weekend requirement, but weekend and weeknight on-call may be required with minimal call coverage

• 40 hours of orientation required

• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS (all must be AHA certified)

• Epic charting system experience preferred

• 2 years of experience required - IR or procedural nursing preferred, ICU or ED experience will be considered

• Travel experience required

• May float to other locations if census is low on home unit

• Must be available for lab work within 3-5 days of signing

• Valid state license required at time of submission

• 7-year work history verification required

Adex Job . Pay package is based on 10 hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
