Position

Medical Value and Health Information Technology (MVHIT) Manager - Health IT Liaison Manager Northwest US
Territory: Northern California, Idaho, Montana, Oregon, Washington, Wyoming

What You Will Do

In this vital role you will secure coverage for our brands and support patient access. You will help develop and execute strategies for Integrated Delivery Networks (IDN) within the U.S. healthcare system, focusing on tapping into the evolving IDN segment and Implementation Science. The MVHIT Liaison will educate accounts using MAC-approved materials related to Electronic Health Records (EHR) supporting multiple therapeutic areas.

You will directly manage prioritized accounts within your regional geography and collaborate with leadership to develop strategy, messaging, tools, and resources to harness the potential of IDNs and health systems within the EHR space.

You will educate health systems in leveraging EHR platforms to support a shift toward value-based, proactive care. Relevant functionalities include clinical decision support aligned with evidence-based guidelines, reporting tools, alerts, order-sets, patient portals, and patient reminders to engage at-risk patients within the EHR space. You will work closely with the Medical Value and Access team, MSLs, and cross-functional partners to apply population health strategies and value-based initiatives that support care management, quality improvement, and patient engagement.

This is an enterprise role spanning prioritized Therapeutic Areas of Interest:
Cardiology, Renal and Metabolic (CRM), Oncology, Immunology, and Rare Disease. The primary focus is to educate customers about health information technology (HIT) systems, including EHRs, to enhance diagnosis, treatment, and patient management with tools enabling clinical workflows, patient stratification, activation, and outcomes at the point of care.

Responsibilities
  • Work with cross-functional medical and commercial account teams to gather EHR customer insights and assess opportunities
  • Manage the customer accounts prioritization process for MV Health IT Liaisons
  • Contribute to the development of scalable, EHR-enabled tools and resources in relation to key therapeutic areas
  • Deliver insights related to EHR objectives to key internal partners to inform strategic decisions
  • Deliver education on EHR reporting and clinical decision support tools to support health system initiatives
  • Conduct regular meetings with customers to provide appropriate Health IT-related education
  • Create and complete key account plans for navigating the customer landscape and key initiatives
  • Train and communicate MVHIT programs to MSLs and KAMs and provide support to field staff
  • Engage customers in field activities using MAC-approved materials and messaging
  • Demonstrate effective use of the CRM tool to manage territory schedule and call documentation
  • Support cross-functional work streams to advance care management, quality and HIT implementation
  • Provide feedback on targeting strategies, KPIs, and POAs
  • 50% travel may be required
