HHA for Senior Care

Compensation and Benefits:

• $18 to $20 per hour, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
• Accrued paid sick days, flexible hours, career advancement training, and Caregiver appreciation activities.

• Companionship and conversation, light housekeeping, apparel selection (laying out clothes), household management, errands, meal planning and prep, laundry and linen changing.
• Medication reminders, transportation, and assist with Activities of Daily Living (ADL) such as bathing, toileting, and assist with mobility.
• In overnight situations prep sleeping area.
• Documenting activities in the Care Plan Binder, recording daily hours worked and daily services performed, reporting any significant changes with client to office immediately, and following all policies and procedures as described in the Senior Helpers Handbook.

• Must treat clients with dignity and respect.
• Must be able to read, write and speak English at an average adult level.
• Must be willing to submit to background check per California state law, and obtain TB testing prior to engaging with clients.
• Must be able to drive and have a valid CA driver's license.
• Must be able to lift 25 lbs unassisted.
