Location: San Francisco, CA
Schedule: 20–28 hours per week. Monday–Sunday, with four‑hour shift blocks scheduled between 7:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m. (schedule options listed below):
- 7:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m.
- 8:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.
- 2:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.
- 3:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m.
Assignment Length: Approximately 3 months, with the possibility of an extension or conversion.
About the RoleBoundless Care Inc. is partnering with a respected PACE (Program of All‑Inclusive Care for the Elderly) facility in San Francisco to hire compassionate and dependable caregivers who want to make a real difference. You will support frail and elderly adults with daily personal care and companionship—both at home and in the center.
Responsibilities- Provide personal care and escort assistance based on each participant’s care plan: bathing, grooming, dressing, peri‑care, toileting, and meal assistance.
- Support with light housekeeping tasks (laundry, tidying, etc.).
- Safely assist participants in their homes or the center, following universal precautions and safe body mechanics.
- Help create a warm and respectful environment by interacting professionally and kindly with participants, families, and care team members.
- Encourage participant engagement and activity participation.
- Report changes in participant condition to the interdisciplinary team.
- Minimum 1 year experience caring for the elderly or frail adults (home care, SNF, assisted living, or day center preferred).
- Able to assist with transfers, mobility, and personal care.
- Comfortable working independently or as part of a team.
- Fluency in English (basic conversation); bilingual a plus! Cantonese speaking (Preferred but not required).
- Physically able to perform caregiver duties: lifting, bending, walking, etc.
- Open to home care and center‑based assignments.
- CPR & First Aid certification (Required).
- Must be open to working at least one weekend day (Required).
- Empathetic, respectful, and patient‑centered.
- Reliable and conscientious.
- Able to follow care instructions and ask for clarification when needed.
- Clear communicator; able to document care activities in simple written English.
- Work with a supportive and caring agency.
- Meaningful work that supports the elderly in your community.
