Clinical Sales Specialist - San Francisco

Base pay range: $/yr - $/yr

We are looking for an experienced Clinical Sales Specialist with expertise in Cardiology, Rare Disease, or Rheumatology to join our team at a high-growth, commercialized biopharmaceutical company that’s redefining patient outcomes through science, innovation, and compassion.

The incumbent will report to the Regional Sales Director and play a pivotal role in educating healthcare providers about a breakthrough therapy for heart failure, driving disease awareness, sharing product efficacy and safety information, and delivering an exceptional customer and patient experience across the assigned territory.

Specific Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute a strategic territory plan aligned with commercial goals.
  • Educate cardiologists, rheumatologists, and institutional decision‑makers on product features, benefits, and administration.
  • Build trusted relationships with healthcare providers as a reliable partner.
  • Collaborate closely with medical and market access teams to drive alignment across the field.
  • Identify and engage key opinion leaders in the recurrent pericarditis space.
  • Deliver engaging clinical education to nurses and staff on product preparation and administration.
  • Maintain strong market and disease state expertise to inform business planning and discussions.
Qualifications / Requirements
  • 5+ years of biopharma sales experience (specialty experience required; cardiology a plus).
  • Proven success in territory and strategic account management.
  • Experience demonstrating reconstitution and injection processes.
  • Strong understanding of the patient and provider landscape
    .
  • A track record of launch excellence and collaboration across internal and external teams.
  • Willingness to travel up to 75% of the time.
