Travel RN - Labor & Delivery

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN with a CA license for a Labor and Delivery night shift role requiring prior travel and C-section circulation experience.

Job Details

• Position is in the Labor and Delivery unit at a hospital setting,

• 12-hour night shifts from 19:00 to 07:30, three days per week,

• Every other weekend work required,

• Requires the ability to float to other units or facilities within a 75-mile radius,

• Patient population includes labor, delivery, and postpartum care,

Job Requirements

• Active CA RN license,

• AHA certifications in ACLS, BLS, and NRP required,

• AWHONN Intermediate certification required,

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required,

• Minimum of 3 years of Labor and Delivery RN experience, with at least 1 year recent,

• Postpartum experience required,

• Ability to circulate C-sections required,

• Prior travel nursing assignment within the last 12 months required,

• Must be willing and able to float,

• Proof of full COVID-19 vaccination and booster required with no exceptions,

Additional Information

• Must complete pre-start and annual online modules as part of onboarding,

• Prior experience in a teaching hospital is preferred,

• All time-off requests must be submitted and approved at the time of offer; requests after contract signing will not be considered,

• Travel pairs are permitted but generally will not be assigned to the same unit,

• Married couples may not work on the same unit,

• First-time travelers will not be considered for this role,
