Job Summary

While children of all ages are evaluated, the primary focus will be on children ages 0‑5 years. The psychologist may also provide didactic lectures and supervision of psychological trainees.
The incumbent will be required to provide teaching (1 lecture/quarter) to medical residents rotating through the MDAC clinic as part of the Pediatric Residency rotation, and may be asked by other departments to provide similar lectures.

The psychologist works with the other team members to conduct comprehensive evaluations of children with special developmental needs. The psychologist is responsible for the testing component of this evaluation. The test results will be incorporated into the overall assessment. The final product of the assessment is a report outlining the recommendations and referrals for each specific patient.
