Job Description and DutiesDo you want to gain in-depth knowledge of California's energy system while working on consumer protection and the energy transition? Under general direction of the Program and Project Supervisor, the person who fills this position will work on issues related to Core Transport Agents (CTAs) who are non-utility natural gas providers that give customers an alternative to utility gas service. While the CPUC does not regulate CTA rates, it does provide oversight and consumer protection.
Duties include drafting an annual report and supporting proceedings that impact CTA's. The analyst could also be assigned to renewable gas policy proceedings. If you are a clear communicator and a pragmatic problem-solver who thrives in a team environment, the Renewable Gas and CTA Oversight team could be a good place to take the next step on your career path.
