Accounts Payable Clerk

Description

We are looking for an experienced Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team on a contract part time basis in San Francisco, California. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a leading investment management firm while working closely with the finance team. The role is ideal for someone with strong analytical skills and proficiency in accounts payable systems. This contract position will span 1-2 months, with a hybrid work schedule available.

Responsibilities:

- Process incoming invoices with accuracy and ensure timely coding and entry into the accounts payable system.

- Manage expense reimbursements for employees, ensuring compliance with company policies and deadlines.

- Perform vendor payment processing, including check runs and electronic transfers.

- Collaborate with the finance team to prepare expense reports and reconcile accounts.

- Maintain meticulous records of all accounts payable transactions for auditing purposes.

- Assist in preparing for company-wide events, such as conferences and meetings, by managing related expense tracking.

- Utilize Sage Intacct and Concur systems to streamline accounts payable operations.

- Respond to inquiries from vendors and staff regarding payment statuses.

- Support the finance team in ensuring all deadlines are met for critical financial activities.

- Review and verify the accuracy of financial data entered into systems.

Requirements - Proven experience in accounts payable or a related financial role.

- Familiarity with Sage Intacct and Concur systems is highly preferred.

- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

- Ability to process invoices and payments efficiently while meeting deadlines.

- Proficiency in coding invoices and managing check runs.

- Excellent analytical skills to identify discrepancies and ensure accuracy.

- Effective communication skills to liaise with vendors and internal teams.

- Availability to work in a hybrid environment with some onsite requirements.
