You are an experienced Originations Executive/Managing Director with experience supporting deal sourcing and capital deployment across our private credit and growth equity strategies, with a primary focus on Technology, Media, and Telecommunications (TMT).
ResponsibilitiesWhat you'll be doing
This role offers the opportunity to apply a background in investment banking, asset management, or research to direct investing, while playing a key role in originating, evaluating, and advancing new investment opportunities. The Originations Executive will work closely with senior investment leadership and remain involved throughout the full lifecycle of an investment—from sourcing and diligence through portfolio monitoring.
- Originate, source, and evaluate new investment opportunities across the technology sector
- Partner with senior investment leadership to assess deal opportunities and participate in investment discussions
- Lead key aspects of the sourcing, origination, and execution process, including coordination with external advisors
- Conduct financial and operational analysis to identify risks, key issues, and investment merits
- Prepare and contribute to investment memos, deal materials, and internal presentations
- Build and maintain relationships with founders, intermediaries, and industry participants
- Engage with portfolio company management teams to monitor performance and support value creation initiatives during the hold period
What you bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, or a related field
- 8–10+ years of transaction experience within private credit, growth equity, or a related buy-side investment platform
- Demonstrated success in deal sourcing and origination, particularly within technology or TMT sectors
- Strong financial modeling, analytical, and quantitative skills
- Experience working on middle-market private credit transactions strongly preferred
- Ability to manage multiple work streams and external advisors across live transactions
- Comfort collaborating closely with senior investment professionals and legal counsel
- Proven ability to evaluate the strategic and financial merits of investment opportunities
- Experience supporting investment committees, data rooms, and diligence processes
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with internal teams, investors, founders, and executive leadership
- High attention to detail, strong work ethic, and a collaborative, relationship-oriented mindset
