ResponsibilitiesIntern will focus primarily on constructing financial models for development projects. In addition, he / she will monitor budgets and schedules of ongoing construction projects, participate in weekly OAC meetings, conduct market research, and work closely with our Project Management team, SCG’s Head of Development, and our JV Partners.
- Building financial models to serve as templates for investing in ground–up development projects
- Reviewing development plans
- Monitoring business plan performance with particular focus on budget and schedule performance and reacting to correct any variances
- Opportunity to pitch investment thesis for future development ventures
- Working on special projects including hold-sell analyses and evaluation of refinancing opportunities

- Evident passion for real estate and desire to build a career on the principal side
- Experience building complex financial models (experience building development models a plus)
- Strong creative problem solving skills
- Effective written and oral communication skills
- The ability to work effectively with peers and senior executives in a team-oriented environment
- A Self-starter mentality and capacity of accomplishing complicated tasks with limited supervision
- Unwavering attention to detail
- Experience in or knowledge of design, construction, and project management are plus

- Currently enrolled as an undergraduate student
- Anticipated graduation date:
Fall 2027 – Spring 2028
