Interim Senior Property Accountant

Our client, a prominent commercial real estate investment and development company, is seeking an Interim Senior Property Accountant to support their finance operations during a period of planned leave coverage. This role is fully onsite in San Francisco and has an expected duration of 3+ months.

• Prepare and review CAM reconciliations and ensure accurate CAM data management.
• Manage operating expenses, including coding accuracy, tracking, and reporting.
• Prepare budget-to-actual analyses and support ongoing property-level forecasting.
• Conduct revenue and expense analysis to support operational and financial decision-making.
• Partner with Asset Management and Property Management teams to gather information and ensure financial accuracy.
• Review lease-related financial data and maintain data integrity within Yardi.
• Support day-to-day property accounting activities with minimal oversight.
• Maintain organized documentation and ensure readiness for internal review or audit.

• 5-7+ years of commercial real estate accounting experience.
• Strong CAM reconciliation expertise with the ability to work independently.
• Proficiency in Yardi (financial modules).
• Experience in budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and financial reporting.
• Strong attention to detail, ability to work autonomously, and comfort in a fast-paced environment.
