IntroductionTemasek is a growth-focused investor backing category-leading and category-creating businesses across private and public stages.
We are looking to expand our T&C team, with an Associate or Senior Associate focusing on public investments. The ideal candidate will have a strong analytical background, an entrepreneurial mindset, and deep curiosity about technology (software) business models and trends.
Responsibilities- Assess public equities, IPO and PIPE investment opportunities across tech and consumer subsectors
- Drive investment views and inform decisions via due diligence and industry and company analysis
- Own and run financial modelling work streams, including operating model, returns analysis, and valuation analysis
- Prepare investment memoranda and other internal materials for individual investments
- Track relevant industry trends to support management engagement and reinvestment / divestment decisions
- 1 to 3 years of relevant experience witha top-tier firm in public equities, equity research, investment banking / M&A advisory, private equity, or management consulting
- Prior experience in technology (software) verticals highly preferred
- Intellectual curiosity and willingness to deepen transaction expertise across multiple private stages
- Strong analytical abilities and financial modelling skills, as well as a strong understanding of financial statements
- Driven self-starter with a proven ability to manage multiple priorities and to work independently
- Good communication, interpersonal & teamwork skills
- Strong academic credentials, ideally from finance/accounting/economics/engineering background
Salary Range: US $120 to US $175 annually (not including additional incentive compensation). Actual base salary within that range will be determined by several components including but not limited to the individual s experience, skills, qualifications and other conditions of employment.
