Sr. Finance Control Specialist - Korean Bilingual

POSITION

DESCRIPTION:

We are looking for a Sr. Finance Control Specialist who will provide accounting support to the Finance Control team. The ideal candidate will have experience in accounting, treasury, and taxation and will work closely with Finance Control Team, commercial team, and Qcells HQ in South Korea. This position will be based out of San Francisco, CA.

• Support monthly closing activities related to ERP-managed processes.
• Clarify and Allocate Work in Process or SG&A.
• Manage reports for WIP, AP/AR Aging, inter-company transactions, and Trial Balance.
• Prepare documentation for auditing.
• Perform daily accounting operations, including journal entries, payroll entries, and account reconciliations.
• Assist the Team leader with sales and use tax returns, property tax returns, and excise tax filings across multiple states.
• Provide backup support to other finance control team members.
• Perform other duties and special projects, as assigned by Management or the Team leader.
• Regular attendance, in accordance with the company's attendance policy and supervisory assignment, is an essential job duty requirement for this position.

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or other business-related field with 3+ years of professional work experience.
• Bilingual in English and Korean.
• Strong experience with SAP systems.
• Strong understanding of month-end and year-end processes required.
• Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and technical accounting standards.
• Advanced Excel skills for data analysis and reporting.
• Ability to perform effectively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment while meeting deadlines.
• Ability to work well in a team-oriented and fast-paced environment under strict deadlines.

• Solar Industry experience (Renewable).

The salary range is required by the California Pay Transparency Act and may differ depending on the location of those candidates hired nationwide. Actual compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skill set, education, licenses and certifications, essential job duties and requirements, and the necessary experience relative to the job’s minimum qualifications.
