Business Tax Manager - Consulting Focused

Overview

KPMG is seeking a Business Tax Manager - Consulting Focused to join our Business Tax Services practice. This role supports high-profile clients by providing industry knowledge and strategic tax advisory within a multidisciplinary team, with opportunities for formal training and mentoring.

Responsibilities

• Work as part of a multi-disciplinary team to provide industry knowledge and experience while managing a premiere, large client as a true business advisor at the forefront of technology and business innovations.

• Build and maintain client relationships while leading teams of tax professionals and assistants contributing to market and business activities external to the firm.

• Stay up to date on current tax practices, including a solid understanding of the TCJA and its applicability to companies with a global presence.

• Oversee risk and financial performance of engagements, including billing, collections, and project budgets.

Qualifications

• Minimum three years of recent experience with income taxes in accordance with ASC 740, including taxation, consolidations, and partnerships.

• Bachelor's degree, J.D., LL.M. in taxation and/or MST from an accredited college/university; CPA, EA or JD/LLM license (or other approved credentials) with a plan to obtain additional credentials if not possessed at hire; recruiter will provide the current list of approved designations.

• Experience using tax provision software (e.g., Onesource Tax Provision) and data analytics tools.

• Knowledge of global tax regulations and international tax compliance.

• Excellent advisory and compliance skills with outstanding verbal and written communication abilities.

• Ability to articulate complex information clearly.
