About the Role
This role will be instrumental in executing month-end close activities, reviewing sales contracts for revenue implications, and supporting cross‑functional partners across Finance, Deal Desk, Legal, and Sales Operations. The ideal candidate brings deep technical accounting knowledge, a process‑driven mindset, and the ability to thrive in a fast‑paced environment. This position will play a key role in refining and scaling revenue processes, implementing automation initiatives, and supporting audit and compliance activities.
Responsibilities
• Execute monthly and quarterly close deliverables in Net Suite (journal entries, reconciliations, analytics, reporting).
• Review and assess sales contracts for proper revenue recognition treatment under ASC 606.
• Partner with Deal Desk, FP&A, Legal, and Go‑To‑Market teams to ensure accurate reporting of all revenue streams.
• Support annual audit activities, including preparation of PBCs, sample tie‑outs, and documentation requests.
• Assist in implementing scalable and automated quote‑to‑cash processes to drive efficiency and accuracy.
• Maintain and document revenue accounting policies, procedures, and internal control processes.
• Participate in ad hoc analysis and projects, including new product launches and system enhancements.
Qualifications
• 7+ years of combined public accounting and/or corporate revenue accounting experience.
• Strong working knowledge of ASC 606, preferably in a high‑growth SaaS environment.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel and ERP/reporting systems (Net Suite, Looker, Salesforce, Stripe).
• Hands‑on experience with Net Suite ARM (required).
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills with a high attention to detail.
• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and work cross‑functionally in a fast‑paced setting.
• CPA or CPA eligibility preferred; experience supporting IPO readiness a plus.
Required Skills
• Strong working knowledge of ASC 606.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel and ERP/reporting systems.
• Hands‑on experience with Net Suite, Net Suite ARM, SFDC.
Preferred Skills
• Consumption‑based or usage‑based revenue models.
• SaaS/subscription and professional services revenue.
• AWS and GCP marketplace transactions.
