Asset Management - Senior Analyst; Real Estate

Overview

Our client is a large, well-known Private Equity/Real Estate Firm that invests primarily in Real Estate and Real Estate related investments. They are seeking to add a highly motivated Associate/Senior Analyst to their Asset Management Team. This opportunity is well suited for a Real Estate professional who has a passion for investing and is looking for end-to-end deal exposure. The ideal candidate will be responsible for underwriting the entire deal and must possess superior modeling, written and verbal communication skills (Board Presentations).

This team handles deals across all Asset Classes (Real Estate) and encompasses the following responsibilities: full portfolio management, research valuations, asset management, due diligence, investment research/pitch presentation, financial modeling and underwriting.

• Provide detailed due diligence on potential strategic growth opportunities
• Create detailed financial analyses utilizing both Microsoft Excel and ARGUS to evaluate prospective and existing investments
• Review company financials performance, attribution analysis, financial review, and creation of detailed models
• Prepare Investment Committee research materials
• Coordinate all aspects of transaction execution and deal closing process with Senior Management/Board of Directors
• Prepare investor communications, including but not limited to financial forecasts, reporting and financial estimates
• Support potential acquisition recommendations through statistical analysis
• Work with Compliance, Legal and Marketing Teams
• Oversee back-testing of investments analytical framework and cash-flow forecasts

• Minimum of 2+ years in Management Consulting/Valuations/Asset Management/Research or applicable (Private Equity/Real Estate/Banking) experience
• 2+ years of professional experience mandatory
• Top Academic pedigree
• Experience in Corporate Development/M&A/Transaction Advisory/Asset Management
• Advanced technical skills; strong quantitative and qualitative abilities
• ARGUS Modeling experience required
• Superior written and verbal communication skills
