Salary/Wage Range or Industry Benchmark: 35 - 60 USD Hourly USD 35.00 60.00 HOUR

We are seeking an experienced Tax Manager to join our team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in managing our tax practice area, ensuring compliance with laws and regulations, and providing excellent service to our clients. This role is hybrid with 2 days in office. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience and location. Expected starting base salary $35 to $60 per hour.

Responsibilities:

Prepare and manage the company's tax compliance, including income tax returns.
Oversee tax planning and strategy development to optimize tax outcomes.
Ensure accurate and timely tax payments.
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients.
Provide excellent tax planning advice and consulting services.
Coordinate tax projections, especially during October and November.
Handle bookkeeping clients' needs.

Requirements:

MS Teams for communication and collaboration.
Softwares:
Quick Books Online, Ultra Tax, Canopy, Sureprep, Safesent
Excellent knowledge of tax accounting, tax compliance, and various types of tax returns.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to meet deadlines.

Experience:

Bachelors degree in accounting
3+ years of staff-level experience
5+ years of Tax Manager-level experience.
