About the roleThe Biz Ops Lead will be the first operations hire, working closely with the CEO and co-founders to own key financial and operational initiatives. This role focuses on executing high-impact projects, operating in ambiguity, and supporting the company’s scale as it prepares for Series B.
Requirements- 4+ years of experience in startups and analytical roles in finance (investment banking/investing) or consulting
- Experience at an early stage startup (i.e. Biz Ops)
- Highly analytical and been in an analytical role before
- First Biz Ops hire working closely with the CEO on strategic and operational initiatives.
- Ended 2025 at ~ $8M ARR, planning to end 2026 at $30-40M ARR
- Experiencing rapid growth with a 12x revenue increase in 2025
- Blacksmith is preparing for a Series B and offers the opportunity to be part of their first ops hire in a high-growth environment.
