Role Description

As a Real Estate Finance Analyst
, you will support the Real Estate and Development Teams on acquisition opportunities and development projects, with increasing ownership over financial analysis and investment materials.

This role will be responsible for building and maintaining underwriting models to assess the financial viability of EV charging hub projects across the acquisition and development lifecycle. The role will also include primary ownership of first-draft investment committee memoranda and supporting analyses, with review and guidance from senior leadership.

This position requires the ability to work independently while collaborating closely with cross-functional partners in real estate, development, energy and finance. This role will report to the Vice President of Real Estate Acquisitions and Strategy.

Primary Responsibilities
  • Support and evaluate investment opportunities across acquisition and development projects
  • Build and maintain underwriting models, including base case analysis, sensitivity testing and scenario evaluation, with review and guidance from senior team members
  • Prepare and own first-draft investment committee materials, including financial exhibits and written analysis
  • Support market research efforts, comparable analysis, and tax and incentive underwriting
  • Assist with due diligence efforts related to property acquisitions and dispositions, including coordination with internal and external partners
  • Maintain and improve internal databases of market, asset and underwriting data
  • Coordinate with policy & incentives, energy and finance teams to incorporate federal, state and local incentives into financial models
Preferred Qualifications
  • 2+ years' experience in real estate finance, infrastructure, investment banking, private equity or a related field
  • Bachelor's degree required, preferably in finance, economics, real estate, or a related quantitative discipline
  • Advanced modeling skillset (DCF modeling, sensitivity analysis, scenario modeling)
  • Strong analytical, quantitative and problem-solving skills
  • Demonstrated ability to work across multiple internal stakeholders and teams
  • Highly organized, detail oriented, and comfortable operating in a fast-paced early-stage environment
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to drive outcomes through collaboration

$100,000 - $120,000 a year

Compensation for this role is determined by several factors, including the cost of labor in specific geographic markets, and these ranges are intended to provide a helpful reference. The actual compensation offer will be based on the candidate’s location, skills, level of expertise and experience, and internal equity considerations. In addition to base salary, we offer a comprehensive benefits package and, where applicable, performance-based incentives.
